PROFFORMANCE Institutional Ambassadors met for the first time
PROFFORMANCE Institutional Ambassadors met for the first time.
The PROFFORMANCE Professional Network launched with a kick-off meeting at the Tempus Public Foundation, on 8 November 2024, marking a crucial step toward building a collaborative community focused on educational quality enhancement in higher education.
The event began with an official welcome by Dr. Márton Beke, who highlighted the importance of a professional network that fosters knowledge sharing and joint problem-solving in education. Dr. Linda Huszár then introduced the PROFFORMANCE+ project, detailing its goals and toolkit, which provide practical resources for improving teaching quality.
A guided knowledge-sharing session led by Szilvia Besze and Csilla Szabó focused on existing assessment and development systems within institutions, encouraging participants to exchange insights on best practices and challenges in evaluation and support of their educators.
Following a break, Szilvia Besze presented the PROFFORMANCE Assessment Tool (PAT) and outlined the development planning process for using PROFFORMANCE toolkit to support structured, continuous improvement in teaching quality.
The program concluded with a hands-on session led by Csilla Szabó, where participants explored practical applications of the PAT, creating their own institutional network on the PROFFORMANCE platform. This interactive demonstration showcased how the tool can be tailored to meet individual institutional needs.
The kick-off event provided a valuable platform for networking and practical learning. The next phase will involve pilot testing the platform within institutions. The community scheduled to reconvene in January to discuss their experiences and outline the path forward in enhancing teaching quality together.
