The Profformance Online Peer Learning Activity is a dynamic professional development opportunity for higher education educators who want to refresh and strengthen their courses through innovative, student-centred approaches. The programme supports meaningful course redesign with a focus on digitalisation, internationalisation, inclusion, and sustainability, helping participants respond to today’s evolving higher education landscape.
Fully online, flexible, and free of charge, the course runs on Moodle between 1 April and 30 June 2026.
Structure and Learning Experience
The programme is designed to fit into busy academic schedules while still offering a rich and engaging learning journey:
- Minimum commitment: a few hours to complete core certification requirements
- Extended engagement: additional time for deeper peer interaction and course development work
Participants progress at their own pace within a clearly structured framework that supports both flexibility and achievement.
What You Will Experience

- Completion of the Profformance self-assessment tool
- Completion of all four Genially learning modules
- Participation in quizzes and learning activities
- Contribution to mandatory discussion forums
- Final quiz and reflective task
- Completion of the course evaluation
Optional enrichment activities:
Additional tasks provide opportunities to deepen learning, gain extra points, and receive more detailed feedback on course development work.
