At the Educatio+ Conference on January 9, 2025, Dr. Márton Beke took part in a roundtable discussion organized by the National Union of Students in Hungary (HÖOK) on the impact of OMHV (Student Evaluation of Teaching) results on teacher-student relationships and the perception of teaching credibility. He emphasized that transparency in OMHV is a cultural issue, and while full public access may not be necessary, sharing aggregated data could be a useful step. Dr. Beke presented the PROFFORMANCE Assessment Tool as an effective resource to help educators use OMHV feedback to improve their teaching skills across six thematic areas, including student-centered course design and societal impact. He highlighted the importance of open dialogue between educators and students and the need for targeted development programs. To improve student engagement in OMHV, he stressed the importance of showing students how their feedback leads to real changes, helping to build trust in the process.
