Bárbara Gabriel, Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, is a researcher at the University of Aveiro specializing in innovation, entrepreneurial education, and engineering teaching methods. She serves as Deputy-Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, leads the SEE Group, and coordinates European projects such as THEI2.0 and TANDEM+. She is also an expert and facilitator for HEInnovate, a joint initiative of the European Commission and OECD.

Jan Beseda, PhD, is a senior researcher at the Centre for Higher Education Studies and holds the position of Head of the National Centre for Distance Education. Additionally, Jan serves as the Director of the Czech Association of Professional Tertiary Education. His primary areas of expertise include leveraging ICT in education, ensuring quality in higher education, and fostering competency development. Jan is also renowned for his role as the primary organizer of the international DisCo conference, focusing on the integration of ICT in education. Furthermore, he actively participates in several influential working groups, such as EURASHE Quality Assurance Community of Practice, and has been involved in numerous international projects.


Silke PREYMANN, Project manager and researcher

Silke is a project manager of the Erasmus+ funded projects EnhanceIDM! (Enhanced Programme Leadership for Inclusion and Diversity Management in Higher Education) and ENTRANTS (Enhancing the transition of non-traditional students). She is working as a researcher in the Department for Higher Education Research and Development at FH Upper Austria with a focus on change and change management at universities (e.g. the implementation of the social dimension/the introduction of measures in the field of diversity management and inclusion).

Dr. Irine Darchia is an Associate Professor of Classics at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and a Higher Education Reform Expert (HERE) for the Tempus/Erasmus+ National Office Georgia since 2009. She studied Georgian, Classical, and Modern Greek Philology, completing internships and dissertations at TSU and universities in Germany. As a visiting professor, she has lectured across Europe and coordinated numerous international projects on Classics and Higher Education. Dr. Darchia has held leadership roles at TSU, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and other institutions, and serves as an accreditation expert for agencies in Georgia, Lithuania, and Latvia. She is also a member of the International Advisory Board of Ukraine’s Higher Education Quality Agency.

Szandra GOMBOS, PhD, assistant professor

Dr. Szandra Gombos, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Széchenyi István University, Department of Corporate Leadership and Marketing in Győr, Hungary.She holds a PhD in Regional and Economic Sciences and has extensive teaching experience in marketing-related subjects at BA, BSc, MA, and MSc levels in both Hungarian and English.

Her earlier research focused on cultural and creative industries, city branding, and regional development, with particular attention to Hungarian cities and the Szigetköz region. She has participated in several national and international research projects and has been an active guest lecturer within Erasmus+, CEEPUS, and other mobility programmes across Europe and beyond in more than 15 countries.

Currently, her main research areas include household food waste and related consumer behaviour, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in marketing education. She integrates her practical teaching experience into developing innovative methodological solutions, continuously designing and implementing new, practice-oriented approaches that enhance student engagement and digital competencies in marketing and business education.

Lenka Zouhar Ludvíková, Ph.D.

She trained to become a kindergarten teacher but fell for English. Her master degree in English and American Studies and Pedagogy at Masaryk University gave her an academic foundation for teaching English as a foreign language. Later, her doctoral studies shifted the direction towards learning of languages and learner autonomy. Today, she teaches English for academic purposes and English for specific purposes at university and helps the students find the most efficient way to learn. As an educator, she believes in self-directed learning, in reflection on one’s learning, and in pedagogical care.


Ida Loher 
Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb – Assistant ProfessorHead of the Art Education Department 

Ida Loher graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where she currently works as an Assistant Professor, teaching courses in methodology of art teaching. Her professional work includes research in education, the writing of textbooks and teaching manuals for art teachers, the publication of scholarly and professional articles, and presentations at conferences and professional congresses. 

She often connects pedagogical practice with artistic activity, participating in projects that emphasise the role of art as a catalyst for positive change in the community. 

She co-founded Tigar Theatre together with I. M. Bitanga and L. Vukelić. Within the theatre she works in production, scriptwriting, and stage designs, costumes, and puppets, and also leads workshops. Her exploration of different media extends to artistic expression through photography, video, and drawing, which she has presented in numerous group and solo exhibitions. 

She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU) and the Croatian Educational Research Association, a national branch of the European Educational Research Association (EERA). 

Maja Rožman 

Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb – Associate Professor; Vice-Dean for International and Inter-University Cooperation 

Maja Rožman (b. 1981, Zagreb) is an artist and Associate Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, where she teaches drawing, printmaking, and digital graphics. She also serves as Vice-Dean for International and Inter-University Cooperation, where she contributes to the development of international partnerships, academic mobility, and collaborative educational initiatives. 

Her teaching integrates artistic research with studio-based experimentation, encouraging students to critically engage with contemporary visual culture through diverse media and interdisciplinary approaches. Alongside her academic work, Rožman maintains an active artistic practice exploring identity, ritual, labour, and social interaction. Since 2003 she has presented more than 30 solo exhibitions and participated in over 100 group exhibitions internationally, as well as numerous artistic residencies and research projects.

Marko Dajak 

Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb – Assistant Specialist, Printmaking Department (Relief and Intaglio Printmaking Workshops) 

Born in 1990 in Split, he completed his early education and then joined the Academy of Fine Arts, later transferring to the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He earned his Master’s degree in 2020, majoring in Printmaking, and received the title of Master of Art Education. 

During his studies, he actively promoted street art, painted public and private spaces, and initiated alternative projects at the academy and beyond. He has worked as an illustrator, stylist/arranger, and set designer for short films and commercials, and volunteered at festivals celebrating visual, musical, and film arts. 

His artistic practice includes photography, workshops, residencies, and exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. He has been exhibiting solo since 2020 with works including “Garnitura pokret” and “(Ne)radnik.” He currently works as an Assistant Specialist at the Printmaking Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, focusing on relief and intaglio printmaking workshops. 


Melanie Trojan

Melanie Trojan

Melanie Trojan is a Speech‑Language Therapist and Senior Lecturer at University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna, with a teaching and research focus on social pragmatic communication, neurodiversity, and multilingual language development. She studied psychology and learning disabilities and is currently pursuing a PhD. Melanie has national and international teaching experience and participates in international projects focused on the education and training of speech‑language therapists. She serves as the International Coordinator of the Speech‑Language Therapy BSc study programme and is actively involved in the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP), serving as communications officer for the committee.
