PROFFORMANCE Professional Network
On behalf of the PROFFORMANCE consortium, Tempus Public Foundation (TPF) has invited higher education institutions interested in improving teaching quality and utilizing PROFFORMANCE tools to delegate representatives as PROFFORMANCE Institutional Ambassadors.
I. Objectives
- Establish a professional community focused on enhancing teaching quality and teachers’ competencies.
- Support institutions in applying PROFFORMANCE tools, particularly the PROFFORMANCE Assessment Tool (PAT).
II. Target Group
Leaders of higher education institutions, educational development experts, quality assurance specialists, and decision-makers responsible for educational quality.
III. Background
The PROFFORMANCE consortium has developed a comprehensive assessment-development system for higher education teachers and institutions, available online, free of charge. Its aim is to create a professional community for sharing experiences and learning from each other regarding educational development and the use of PROFFORMANCE tools.
IV. Institutional Ambassadors
Ambassadors receive the following recognition, benefits, and opportunities:
- Status and certificate as a PROFFORMANCE Institutional Ambassador.
- Participation in national and international networking events to exchange experiences and showcase best practices.
- Professional and practical support in understanding and utilizing PROFFORMANCE tools.
V. Participation Conditions
Delegation is based on an institutional leadership decision and requires completing an official statement of intent. It is recommended to delegate at least two representatives per institution, working in educational quality assurance, curriculum development, or human resource development.
VI. Responsibilities of Ambassadors
- Regular participation in network meetings (3-4 times a year).
- Representing their institution in national and international exchanges of experiences and knowledge.
- Ensuring the flow of information between the network and the institution.
- Mastering and applying PROFFORMANCE tools.
- Testing tools on a smaller sample (Fall 2024) and a larger sample (Spring 2025).
- Structured collection and sharing of testing experiences.
- Participating in experience-sharing forums.
VII. Planned Events (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025)
- Institutional Delegation: October 9 - November 4, 2024
- Kick-off Event: November 8, 2024
- Pilot Testing: November 10 - December 15, 2024
- Experience Exchange Workshop: Expected January 2025
- Second Round of Testing: April 2025
- Experience Sharing: May - June 2025
Participation Benefits
For Institutions: Achieving the PROFFORMANCE Institution title and participation in PROFFORMANCE international events.
For Institutional Ambassadors: Official recognition, becoming part of an international network, and invitations to international events.
