About the On-site Peer Learning Activity (October 2026)

Upgrade your course: Make it truly student-centred
27–29 October 2026, Budapest

The on-site Peer Learning Activity in October 2026 is an exclusive follow-up event for selected participants of the spring 2026 Profformance online programme. It recognises outstanding contribution to the international learning community and is designed for those who demonstrate the highest level of engagement throughout the online April–June peer learning activity.

Selection is based on participants’ level of activity, including knowledge sharing, peer collaboration, and sustained contributions within the learning platform. The most active contributors are ranked and invited to join the on-site event in Budapest. Please note that this event is not open for direct application; participation is granted exclusively to selected individuals from the spring online course.

The October event serves as a “harvesting of outcomes” of the spring programme, during which participants develop and refine their own courses. Their work is structured around key pedagogical priorities, including:

  • student-centred course design that fosters meaningful and active learning

  • effective use of digital tools and learning environments to enhance student engagement

  • promotion of inclusion and fairness for diverse learner groups

  • alignment with international standards and evidence-based teaching practices

  • integration of sustainability-related content and methodologies into course design

Building on these foundations, the on-site event creates a collaborative learning environment where participants present their course innovations and pedagogical approaches. These are not only showcased but also experienced in practice by peers, who engage in testing, reflection, and structured discussion.

Through constructive peer feedback and critical dialogue, participants move beyond simply acquiring a toolkit of methods. They are supported in further refining and enhancing their own courses, ensuring that the developments initiated during the spring programme lead to sustained pedagogical improvement and greater impact on student learning.

The on-site event takes place in Budapest, 27–29 October 2026. Catering during the programme and accommodation are covered for selected participants. Travel costs are self-funded, although participants may apply for reimbursement through their national Erasmus+ TCA offices, subject to local conditions and availability.
